Things are tightening up in the western conf. because 3 points separates 4th to 9th place.

The Stars and Jets tied after 3 periods is no surprise. All 4 of their games this season have gone that way. The Stars win the season series 3-1, winning all their games in OT. The Jets win was in the SO. Robertson gets the hat trick including the GWG. Stastny with a pair of goals for the Jets. Holtby was great in net making 39 saves. The win puts Dallas in 7th place in the conf.

What the heck happened to the Wild? They weren't strong defensively in the final period. Skinner had 2 goals for the Sabres in the 5-4 regulation win.

Merzlikins was solid in net in the OT loss. He made 39 saves. Bummer that the Kings won. Arvidsson gets the hat trick including the GTG and GWG. There were only 2 penalties in this game.

The Lightning win 3-1 over the Red Wings. All of Tampa's goals were on the PP, going 3/4. Elliot was in net for the Bolts.

Special teams were the Knights weakness against the Ducks. It didn't matter as they squeak out a big 5-4 win in reg time.

If CBJ goes 17-10 the rest of the way, TOR only has to go 9-20-1

If CBJ goes full Avs and go 20-7, TOR only has to go 12-17-1
