Meh. Bright side: Darryl will have them fired up for Colorado.

Well that OT sucked.

Nice to see them tie it late. Not the best game from Markstrom though.

Big test coming up on Saturday.

Oof, that was bad. Hard to pick one good player from the Flames. Mangiapane?

Lucic couldn't do anything with the puck tonight but he wasn't alone.

Habs were the better team tonight. They had a good forechecking game that put pressure on the Flames all night. Add in the penalty trouble and The Flames still managed to escape with a point.

Backlund in OT is a killer.

He goes all in on a rush and doesn't get back after his shot makes a juicy rebound that goes the other way. I think that's happened in a few of our OT losses.

3 on 3 strategizing is probably Sutter's weakest point because he doesn't give a #### about gimmick hockey.

Not too mad. Flames were at 60% tonight. Still manage to extract a point.

Sutter will have different thoughts.

Markstrom and the Flames both need to figure out their struggles against Canadian teams though. It's getting absurd.

Ahh. #### happens. Glad we got a point. At one point I didn’t think we’d get any points. Disappointing loss. Let’s move forward.

I know the Flames had a 3-1 lead, and losing it is bad, but it never felt like the Flames were in control. Rough game, 1 point is more than one would expect, given the effort.

I said it in the game thread; looked more like they went drinking before the game

Team was off and could have used a stellar performance from their goaltender. Unfortunately Markstrom was off too.

Not a good game from the team. GM needs to upgrade Monahan. If Sutter can't make him better, we better find a good replacement.

Average play by the team and keeper on a couple of those goals. I would say "meh onto the next" but the next will not be easy.

These are all my captain hindsight points:

-This is a game that Vladar should have started

-Ritchie shouldn't be playing. Preferably, neither should Richardson

-Zadorov playing in OT makes little sense

-It's not a good idea to take 6 penalties, including two separate 5 on 3s

-The Flames should have been prepared for a trap game like this

-At least most of the division rivals lost

So yeah this is kind of true. Reggie is an awesome poster but for whatever reason he can post things before many of us get to experience them.

Maybe wait just 5 seconds before posting goals and the like?

Glad to get a point from that mess.

They would have won the game if they stayed out of the box in the 2nd though

Yeah, and even that was Lewis and Richardson in spite of Ritchie...because he was just awful yet again.
