Are those beers 20 oz? If so, six of those = ten cans of beer?

Good lord, I would be hungover for days.

Last Bathroom break after the game, go specifically to the one next to 102/103
Fist bump usher on way out if we win
Avoid the +15, cross the parking lot and bridge to Erlton Stampede LRT instead (so I can get a guaranteed seat)

I have to take the red line north home so I suppose the equivalent for southbound would be to walk north up 4th and just hike it to City Hall
I thought you just prepare ATL throughout the game... post if flames win, discard if flames lose

When I lived in Calgary I had a Sun - Wed routine and a Thur - Sat routine.

Sun - Wed was train to the game, meet my seat partner/buddy on the stairs, two beers, and some nachoes. After the game wait for the crowd to dissipate and train, or walk home.

Thur - Sat: Well that was Vintage steak house for a pregame steak solo at the bar, walk down 17th to the game, 2 dome beers a period, Casino after, or hit the 17th/the bars.

I'm old now so it's two beer ... one before the game as I get there 30 minutes early, and then one for the first intermission ... sometimes one again for the second intermission.

Drive home and unload the beer (large tank for some reason, never have to use the bathrooms at the Dome)

Take date to game.
Miss first few minutes of the first because we are talking to "friends" at Duttons.
Get to seats, order nachos and more drinks.
Miss a lot of the first period listening to stories that I don't give two ####s about.
Leave a bit early for intermission to meet "friends" again.
Wash, rinse, repeat for next periods (minus the food).
If game is out of hand, or lots of "friends" in Duttons, may miss more of periods two and/or three.
Go home and watch highlights to see the goals I missed.

Money well spent!

Lucky...

We should start a thread to detail our bathroom strategies. Best season for my game packs was when we got aisle seats and I could rush up to the lv 3 bathrooms and grab a beer on my way back down. I'd leave the second the red light went on and I'd be able to watch until the next whistle at the base of the stairs.

My favorite intermission game was the big mascot costumes where they would play 2v2. Ol'mate flipped a clearing pass that got blocked by the other team. The mascot that blocked the shot looked wobbly even though it hit him in the chest. On closer inspection the chest of the costume was where the face hole was and the mascot costume was too bulky to get his arms in the way to block the puck. Great strategy if you ever get called down.

Least favorite was when the ex-gf was on the kiss cam sitting next to her blonde girlfriend and they went at it to huge cheers (they were on 3 times that game). Felt like a loser since they were lower bowl and I was second deck. Ha.

- Drive to The District and meet my season buddy. We alternate driving each game.
- Drive to the dome.
- Drink a beer while walking to the arena from the parking spot.
- Go through the downstairs main entrance.
- Say hi to Wheelz and get my ticket scanned by him.
- Chat with him for a bit before I head into the elevator.
- Walk through the Saddleroom restaurant and grab a beer from the bar.
- Say hi to Phil if he’s working.
- Continue up to my seats in PL17.

This has been my routine for about 19 years. The staff have changed but my routine has not.

Go to suite a little early. Pick out beer from fridge or maybe make a cocktail. Chill white wine in case someone wants it. Make sure wings and other appies on the way.

Don't forget the Olympics either. The couch is already warmed up. Snoozing through the slow, low scoring games and working from home helps.

I have a pretty disgusting meal plan that I adhere to.

Pre game - king club wings, small king club coke
1st period - nachos and large coke
2nd period - churro and drink refill
3rd period - malt ice cream

If I’m not driving, replace coke with 10 or so vodkas from king club.

Get there and grab a burger and a beer and get to my seat for warmup.
After warmup go to concourse for 50/50 tickets and another beer.
First intermission, concourse again for another beer and popcorn
Second intermission, concourse and ice cream (more beer if it's Friday or Saturday)
Always stay for three stars
After game down to concourse and Fan Attic for something (always buy something maybe even jersey)
Take train home or if it's weekend hit a couple bars/pubs on way home.

Saddledome pro-tip:

-If you are able bodied and up for exercise, it is worth trekking to the Press Level to use the bathrooms. The main bowl has 4 washrooms to accomodate ~12,000 fans. The two PL have 4 washrooms that serve ~3,000 fans. Extra pro-tip: the restaurant level also has washrooms you can sneak into.
