Even being at home with the Knights on the 2nd half of a back to back, this will be a tough test. If the Flames show up and stick to their game plan, I expect this one to be a hard fought, low-scoring affair.
I'll say 3-2 Flames in a nail biter.

I am still pissed about the last time VGK was in Calgary. Kill them with fire.

This is true, but I am irrationally angry that he ended up in Vegas. Can't stand that spoiled franchise. My response is more emotional than logic based.

Oilers get a team the night after playing the Flames? How unfair, the Oilers catch all the breaks!!
We get a team after they play the Oilers? It's a disadvantage because we're cold and they're warmed up!!
I guess it's always something. I expect Flames come out on fire tonight and give Vegas more than they can handle. Should be a great game.

Or, it's our first game back after a long break, which can be difficult. That's all...regardless of who they played the night before.

Sure, difficulties aren't hard to find, they're everywhere. Guess it just depends what you're looking for.

I'm sorry, can we give Puppet Guy a little more credit for the options on "Wheel of Torture"?
"Burned Alive"
"Keel-Hauling"
"Acid Bath"
All pretty standard fare a this point, but then he ups the ante
"Hot Fryer Oil Enema"
"Scaphism" AKA The Boats. I had to look this one up. Apparently you trap the victim between two boats, cover them with milk and honey, and wait for insects and vermin to eat them alive. W-in-T-actual-F.
And then we get fun again, but still possibly the actual worst forms of torture
"A Weekend in Edmonton"
"Air Supply Listening Party" *shudder*
Puppet Guy, your mind simultaneously terrifies and entertains me. Never stop.

I actually scared myself with this episode - it seemed to come from a real place of darkness.

Getting them on the second night of a back to back after the all-star break is unlucky IMO. they have their legs under them and won't be gassed.

Assuming Marky tonight and Thursday?
Any thoughts on when Vladar might start?

Tonight will be a tough game. Vegas has already played following the break, so we're going to have to figure out how to overcome a good team, while also shaking the rust.
Whatever the outcome tonight though, I hope we find a way to perform better in the second half of the season this year.

Weather the storm for the first 10 minutes and then start to get into that rhythm tey had the last 6 games or so before the break. They were playing outstanding 200' hockey.

Vegas got a shut out last night.

Flames D needs to be careful of the Vegas golden cherry pickers as they fly their zone early a lot especially on the back end of a back to back.
So our forwards need to make them pay when outmanning them in their zone.
