As I am turning 30 today, let the birthday traditions continue. 3-0 Flames! GFG.

Wait! Gaskal and I share birthdays? The best revelation of today is that I share birthdays with a CP legend.

One of my goals in life was to afford my own home (mortgage), and watch a flames game in it for my 30th birthday. I can proudly say - mission accomplished!

Congrats to you on achieving your goal and Happy Birthday.

Hopefully the Flames can throw you a bit of a bonus and win this one 6-0. 3 goals for each of you.

Oh man, 3-0 was a big bag of mixed emotions. I hope you take it better than I did lol.

Remember young adulthood is at least until your mid-late 30s these days anyways.

So is this one being played at a local community rink? What's the ice situation?

Ball Hockey in the parking lot presumably.

My dyslexia kicked in and my brain read “a big yeast infection”. I assuming a “big insect feast” is better. 😳

I hadn't noticed this before...

The Flames have 9 shutouts this year. And in the other 32 games, they are 13-13-6

That is incredible.

Coyotes will be basking in the glory of their win against the Avalanche and will get steamrolled before they know what hits them

I can't believe they have won all the games when they have had a shutout!

That's awesome!

Are you literally cutting up boxes before puck drop or did you make it with some time to spare?

This many shut outs at this point in the season is the thing that's a bit incredible. That said, a lot of those shut outs have been 4-0 games. So if you take 4 of those out and make them 4-1 it would normalize things a bit in that the non shutout record looks more like other teams. There are 5 games where the Flames have allowed 1 goal. If we look around the league you can probably find other teams who have 1/3rd of their games with 1 or less goals against, but likely more with 1 than 0.

When the D jumps into play the offensive pressure is much stronger. Kylington, Hanafin and even Zadarov have the ability to score a goal or two. Hope we start to see Dube to contribute here and there.

Go Flames!

It's funny I assumed the flames would get their "backup" because their goalie won them the game last night but the Flames are actually getting the guy who has played more games and has slightly better numbers.
