I get it on my phone now so I can read the gamethread while at the game. I have also logged in from different continents worldwide! The only place I didn't bother was when I was in Mongolia, as the only modems they had were 14.4.

I had to scale it back a bit though, as it was impacting my work productivity. Not to the point that I was considering a self ban (*coughblackarcher*) but the thought did cross my mind.

SO THAT'S WHERE BlackArcher went.....was wondring where some of the regular posters have been going....Now I see one banned himself....shame actually.

I'm sure no one has come up with an antidote for this crack....

It's far worse than crack. CalgaryPuck is free.
hey sounds like me. The thing with CP is...if I'm at a computer on the internet and can, I'll go and waste all sorts of time here. I find that I don't really miss it when I don't have the opportunity, though. It's always here, and will be when I get back...whereas the stuff I'm doing elsewhere - dare I say it? - tends to be more exciting than an internet message board...even one like CP (the only one I've found that I'm willing to waste my time on).

I'm definately addicted to CP, but not nearly as bad as I was at one time to Unreal Tournament. Glad I beat that demon. Online video games are the worst addiction the net has to offer.

edit:Fitting that my 1000th post is about being addicted to CP.
Well I guess it's really ~1200 because of the server crash

at TFarchive.com under my Blaster_86 ID I totalled up 5000 posts in under five months four years ago.

So far at this place I am moving a bit slower.

I think I spend atleast 10-15min. on here everytime I come on and I think I'm on here 5 or 6 times a day, more on the days I'm not working. I don't post all that much either but it's got more to do with generally people respond with basically the same thoughts i have on the subjects so there isn't much point in me posting the same thought again. But yeah I'm sure my wife would say I'm adddicted, I've been coming on this site for years, I remember it used to be on rivals.com or something to that affect.

I'm here!

That was when I had final exams, and had myself banned from CP. I found myself wanting to log on to see if any new posts were made... and that was during the lockout! It helped.... sorta

My addiction reached an all time high right after the CBA was signed and the GMs started making so many deals. Smack in the middle of summer, I did zero work and spend hours on end inside in front of my computer. It was almost embarrassing.

Like many others, I spend an hour or two on here every day. And man, if you miss a day or two, you end up sifting through page 2 or 3 to see what you missed. The topics on the front pages move darn quick... Fabulous reading though!

I spend about as much time here as you, 8 hours at work and another 4 at home.

Yeah that was definately rock bottom for me too - refresh refresh refresh NEW POST refresh refresh refersh NEW POST referesh refersh refersh NEW SIGNING

Got ZERO work done for a couple weeks straight - something not detected by my employer at all. Which probably speaks to how little I'm needed by my work.

I have two monitors on my station at work, and one is dedicated to "Today's Posts" full time. I will also spend an hour or so after each game reading the game takes, the tail end of the gamethreads, and post game rants and raves. I READ EVERYTHING. I don't post much, but yeah I am addicted. I have also logged in from four different continents, and rely heavily on CP for news and opinions on MANY current events.

Speaking of addicts and recovery where the hell has Claeren been?!
I think he's a pretty good poster and haven't seen him around for ages.

Superfraggle, I'm the same way. When I can't access CP I don't have withdrawls, but when I can, it's just right there, so why not?

I'm the same way with Nestcape a junior hockey board, but it's much Much MUCH less active than here.

I'm here most of the day at work reading posts unless I'm horribly busy (and even then I somehow find some time to get on here). Then I'll still get on when I'm at home.

Definitely a very addictive site.

I think he accidentally took Claeritin and vanquished himself.

In all seriousness, yes, he is noticibly absent.

Haven't had it at home for a couple days.. maybe a good thing as I got my papers whipped out in no time. Now I have it back and a 10 page paper due tomorrow that I haven't even started is mysteriously, still not started...

Oh god, only 20 minutes??! That's seriously nothing. Unless you mean 20 mins out of every hour. That would be more like it.
