Flames really need to start stringing some wins together. Sadly, the stupid Oilers are only 2 points back now and lucked out this week with back-to-back games against the bottom feeder Habs and Senators. It would be incredibly embarrassing if they pass us in the standings.

I predict a 2-1 absolute thrashing victory over the Canucks. The level of skill and display will not be matched ever again. A victory of the ages in tales that will be passed onto our great grandchildren.
At least that's what I'd say if I was a dirt bag oilers fan.

But according to an Oilers fan I talked about a month ago on Twitter about who has had the tougher schedule the Oilers don't get to play those teams while 100% healthy like the Flames do so it doesn't count and they've had the much tougher schedule.

But anyway, good on Sutter for not throwing him under the bus and for playing him - individual mistakes shouldn’t cause that unless repeated over and over. Overall poor play - sure.
