The heroin Beer at the dome cures covid....at the very least they should have it convenient in a IV drip so you don't even have to unmask.
Just sit there getting hammered screaming through your mask while getting the drip drip drip of luxurious heroin Beer.
And a merry Christmas to one and all....ho ho ho.

I’m in the same boat. Bought 2 BoA tickets and paid quite a lot for them.. should have seen the look on my face when they announced the new restrictions yesterday. Emailed customer service and they told me they can’t do any refunds since I bought them privately. Hoping the STH refunds

People being irresponsible is why they had to close concessions. Everyone who treated the beverage in hand as a way to dodge wearing a mask and caught covid is the reason we can't have nice things.
My buddy went to both super spreader games and wore a mask even in Duttons, despite being teased by people, he didn't get covid.

I had sex and didn't wear a condom. She didn't get pregnant. I guess no one needs to wear condoms anymore either. Anything else we can rid of?

Maybe I’m alone here on this, but I feel like I’ve already accepted that COVID is going to be around forever and it’s just going to be what the “flu bug” was up until 2 years ago. Everyone at the Saddledome is double vaxxed so I have no concerns at all about people not wearing their masks.
Vaccinations are doing their part, as even with the drastic increase in positive tests, hospitalizations are down. So at some point I feel we are just going to have to learn to live with it. People are always going to test positive for some form of COVID no matter how many vaccinations or medications they give us.

They are shooting for February to have things such as capacity, F&B, etc return to normal.

Had tickets to the CBJ (18th) and Seattle (23rd) game. As of right now they are not offering refunds. I have no idea if I will even be in town for the rescheduled games, and now it's likely we won't be able to drink or eat even if I can make it. I love the Flames but not enough to pay 400$+ to not be able to drink a god damn beer. I feel like a lot of people are gonna be pissed, including me.
There's also ZERO chance I can sell my tickets to the Kraken game for what I paid for them. They need to sort something out here quick.

$300 a week, if the Saddledome job is more than 50% of your income.
Which is better than nothing for sure but:
-Won't completely replace wages for folks who work all the events, or even all the Flames games.
-Won't help with any tips those folks get from working the events.
-Does nothing for F&B workers for whom it is a second job.

I think you don't understand how that works its only UP TO 55% of your income. It's not a lot. And no you can't just go on it. It's not automatic any more they changed it a months ago. You still need to meet ei standards for ours etc etc.

You are obviously very privileged.
People who work these jobs are not all lazy or whatever you make it seem from the tone of your post.
Pandemic has hit me hard but I am in a good place. My employees, who are these people you feel would just take it have it a lot tougher than you think. I help them as much as I can beyond what is required.
When you make a lot more than the benefits you cannot even name, it is harder to understand the differences in situations for other people.

You buy them off Ticketmaster? Hopefully a good chance they will refund your money once they sort things out and drop attendance down to 50%.
