Late start and no work tomorrow, perfect for me

It's about time the team starts piling up points against teams from the West, tonight would be a good time to start.

The turbulence of the first quarter of the season is over. Time to make wins against weak teams automatic.

Hopefully this doesn't turn into another Chucky/Doughty show. The Flames play much better when they're not constantly distracted by ridiculous shenanigans.

I hope that's exactly what it is.

Maybe it’s because I’m always thinking of his first hat-trick and that comeback OT win where he was on fire and Gio finished em off but Johnny always seems to turn it up against the Kings! Big games now that we are for the most part done with the east aside from some home games and one more trip. 4 point games have so much more on the line seemingly and I can’t help but think we are going to see the team gear up into another level.

This game, gets Tkachuk back on his shyt disturbing game and he becomes a force to be reckoned with the rest of the season.

I feel like tkachuk baiting guys is the only way we will get more powerplays than the other team

Plus the Kings practically have zero toughness. That’s a battle we can win

I’m soooooooo happy Sutter has this team realizing how they can play and finding an identity that has been sorely missing for years and years. So excited for him to be back in LA as a HC and really hoping the boys can get him the W against his old club!

Lindholm's 27th Birthday today so expecting the score to be Kings-2 Flames-7
Throw in a hat trick from Lindy for good measure.

My take is that Chucky is great when he gets these guys off their game, but too often it has the reverse effect. He famously caused Doughty to melt down. But the next game Doughty had the last laugh. He caused Kassian's meltdown, but the next game Tkachuk was the one off his game IMO, and even felt pressure to fight. He seems like he can get too much into his own head at times.

Which is a shame because I would have loved to see Chucky feed that clown his own teeth so he cant bite anyone anymore.

I dont normally care much for hockey fights but I care even less for biters.

As Sutter really got up for games against the Flames when he was with the Kings, I should expect he'll have this team pumped up for this game against his former team.

No headhunting doughty. Just turn him inside out and run them over on the scoreboard.

That loser isn't worth the attention.
