Ideally I'd like to see him and Monahan swap positions. Dude is the better middleman and Monahan is still struggling mightily.

I think he leaves you wanting more because he gets stuck on the third or fourth line with players that don’t really generate a lot of offense. In this case monahan and pitlick.
I think if he was reunited at least with mangiapane you’d see a lot more production.

Dylan Dube is a 22-year-old junior manager who enjoys drone photography, social media and listening to music. He is brave and considerate, but can also be very sadistic and a bit untrustworthy.
He is a British Christian who defines himself as gay. He has a degree in business studies. He is obsessed with zombies.
Physically, Dylan is in pretty good shape. He is average-height with cocao skin, brown hair and green eyes.
He grew up in an upper class neighbourhood. He was raised by his father, his mother having left when he was young.
He is currently in a relationship with Clifford Sierra Fulton. Clifford is the same age as him and works as a student.
Dylan has one child with ex-boyfriend Mayson: Benedict aged 3.
Dylan's best friend is a junior manager called Greig Mathew. They get on well most of the time. He also hangs around with Eliza Robert and Noble Jeffery. They enjoy swimming together.

Not everyone on this team is going to be able to play with scorers and just based on the current roster and how they're playing, I wouldn't mess with the first two lines unless there is an infusion of talent from the outside.
Dube and Monahan should be able to generate some offense on a line and they're not doing that, but give them credit for playing Sutter's system and keeping the chances against down. Their line has the worst plus/minus on the team but it's not disastrous.

But I agree with above poster in that he leaves you wanting more. Under Sutter I hope he learns something and takes it to the next level.

Disagree with this. Heart (or truculence, or whatever you want to call it) is not his problem. I think he is still figuring out how to be a consistent pro, but not because of a lack of effort.

The best friend or loving nephew of all goalie player agents?

TBF to Dube, is there any forward on the team that’s had less consistency in both linemates and position than him over his short career? Seems like it has been doubly hard for him to find a groove that way.
IMO he has a second line toolbox. His vision needs to improve. And IMO when he goes offence only, he looks great to fans but Sutter wants something more out of his 200 foot game.

This.
He's two years younger than Mangiapane and has over 100 less pro experience (ahl&nhl) then him. Dube's a good talented player, there is no guarantee but I like still really like him moving forward. Hopefully at centre.

What is D Dube, expendable. We need to upgrade and throw Pitlick in there while we’re at it. We need more offence

Dube is far from being ‘expendable’. He’s a 23 year old former 2nd rounder who’s progressing nicely and is on a really decent contract if he can continue to takes steps. Any trade involving him should push the needle considerably for this club and I really think the difference in value between Dube and Pitlick is vast.

Flames are tied for 8th in GF/G. Ahead of the Lightning, Knights, Leafs, Bruins, Pens, etc. And the goal differential is huge, which is a way more important stat.

Dube is still figuring out how to excel at the NHL level. His speed and jam makes him a bottom sixer at worst. We'll see if he can figure out how to elevate his game further, but it'll take time.
Let's not forget, he was healthy scratched by Sutter on more than one occasion last year. So I think this is part of his development, and once he starts getting a regular shift with more skilled guys, and earning more minutes on the PP/PK, we'll see what his ceiling might be.

Is useful, but Leaves me wanting more.
But it’s important to remember he is still very young and he has lots of time to grow.

As I've said multiple times here already... he's this team's Matt Lombardi. Maybe not as fast, but tell me I'm wrong.
