Debrusk booed in Boston tonight. He had to play because Boston’s farm team has Covid issues and Bruins couldn’t call anyone up.

Pretty awesome sequence for Holtby near the end of the Dallas game, 3 awesome saves in a row. Crowd was chanting his name.

Dallas won 4-1, Hintz with the hat trick.

No, that is not a typo. 27-2 shots on goal in the 3rd. Holy ####.
You don't have to apologize buddy. Your team is cranking it up and good for them. Wow, Samsonov must be in shock from being in that shooting gallery the Panthers fired on him. That was some 3rd period for your team, PPGs, SHG, and ESG (even strength goal).

4 at 5 in regulation

"Florida's rally was beyond improbable. NHL teams had lost 303 consecutive games when trailing by three or more goals entering the third. The last team to pull off such a comeback was, ironically, the Capitals - who on Jan. 18, 2020, trailed the New York Islanders 4-1 entering the third and went on to win 6-4."
https://scores.nbcsports.com/nhl/rec...=23&final=true

"This was the fourth time the Panthers have rallied from three goals in the third period to win in their history. They also did it against the Columbus Blue Jackets on March 11, 2021, at the Boston Bruins on Nov. 12, 2019, and against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Feb. 10, 2009."
https://www.nhl.com/news/washington-...ap/c-328344908

"Thornton's goal gave him 1,533 career points, tying him for 12th place in NHL history with Mark Recchi. The Panthers, who outshot the Capitals 27-2 in the third, also held Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin without a point. Capitals goalie Ilya Samsonov (9-1-1) made 45 saves but lost in regulation for the first time this season."

Other games of note, the Predators crushed the BJs 6-0. Forsberg scored 4 goals including a natural hat trick in the 2nd period with Granlund assisting on each of those goals. Saros gets the SHUTOUT making 27 saves. Merzlikins was pulled after the Predators 3rd goal, just 13 minutes into the game.

Greenway had 3 points as the Wild took control of the game in the 2nd period and beat the Coyotes 5-2. Neither team could score on the PP.

Meier had 2 goals in the Sharks victory. They were up 4-0 entering the 3rd period as the Devils tried to make a comeback by scoring 2 goals and having a 13-5 edge in shots. It wasn't enough.

One of my pool rivals has Goalie Bob and I was happy to see 4-1 Caps. Man did I get a surprise when I checked an hour later.
