Sutter has always played into career record when starting goalies. If you want to know who will start that's how you find out. Obviously Vladar hasn't played many games, but if there is a specific team that Marky has a average record against you can expect Vader to start id say.

Right?

It seems entirely fitting that I hear this in the voice of Ed Whalen.

Completely different outlook with the style they are playing.

I used to pencil in wins last season as well. Especially in games against OTT, that didn't work out too well. I hope they show more of a killer instinct in the next stretch, and win against teams like OTT, BUF, and CHI.

I would go Vladar against Ottawa, Buffalo, and Chicago.

This is where Sutter's line balancing pays off. The trick will be not to wear anyone down over the course of the road trip.

This is what I was worried about when the Flames started their season a week after everyone else did. Thankfully this trip is only against eastern teams, so it won't hurt that much if they drop some games here & there.

I'll be there for the Canadiens, Leafs and Sens game. Considering the Buffalo game but the PCR test is making me think likely not, too much work for a short trip.
Pretty excited hope they keep playing well and win!

4-3 or 4-2-1 would be ideal imo, since we can't sweep them all.
Pegging losses in each of the back to backs. NYI and BOS will be a ####ing gauntlet.
For whatever reason I feel more confident about the game in Toronto than Montreal, despite how the two respective teams are going.

I couldn't find a site that would do it so I went back through game logs to see how Markstrom has performed VS each team on this Road Trip...
Id be surprised if he started Tuesday(at home) vs SJ. He has only 1 win in 7 starts against them.
Doesn't have a great record vs Toronto and Ottawa either.
So I think Darth Vader gets all those games.

Don't see Vladar starting the last home game but crazier things have happened under Sutter.
Markstrom needs to find his groove against Canadian clubs. I hope that's a career trend he can overcome.

Hall of Fame induction ceremony this weekend in Toronto, Flames play Sat night.
Lowe couldn’t get the Oilers to play the Leafs that night and likely threw a tantrum because of it, as the NHL reserved the game for a Western team with a worthy Hall of Famer going in.
So Lowe does his best to upstage and has his own ceremony the week before instead.
Hawks haven’t retired Wilson’s number, and he still holds franchise records. Lowe has no franchise records and couldn’t even wait until the HoF ceremony to retire his number (as is the “rule” in Edmonton).
Never mind the record as an executive.

That doesn't make much sense? You're playing Markstrom on both back-to-backs with no rest?
I'd give him the Leafs (or Habs) and Bruins and potentially Buffalo.

Never heard his voice. Did he have a particularly memorable way of saying ‘Right?’
