I think we all assume Richardson plays. We are just speculating where Duehr fits if he gets a chance.

I'm happy to see him get an opportunity. I really liked him in camp and pre-season.

Ruzicka is 22, third AHL season, 10 point with 6 of them being goals in six games. Also 6'4 200+ pounds.
Hope Trelviing and company and can being cute with prospects and give these guys a chance soon

Sutter doesn't have boys, Sutter has many subtle levels of players in the doghouse.

I'm not 100%, but I think he is more of a center and they are trying to fill the winger role atm.

More time for Ruzicka in the AHL is probably better than him playing 8 minutes in the NHL.

I don't know if Duehr is as big of a disturber, but he is a fairly big RHS who can skate. Found money if he pans out.
Dube is faster than Ryan, with more offensive upside, especially his shot) but a lot weaker defensively (though he can learn that). Way worse on faceoffs.

Me: Can we get some Eichel?
Mom: We have Eichel at home.
The Eichel at home.... Duehr

I think the fact he was signed after the college season ended combined with some rather pedestrian numbers didn't do him any favours in the rankings.
He does seem like the perfect Brett Ritchie replacement. I'd rather he fill in for a short injury than bring up Ruzicka to play limited minutes.

Hope he gets a chance to show what he's got. Might be his last shot at getting a look in the NHL. Could be Duehr die for him.
Sorry, I'll show myself out...

Before, IIRC.

Sutter said this morning it's a lower body injury, the press conference is in the GDT.

I want him on Monahans RW. Lewis can take Ritchies spot up with Fube and Magiapane.

Would be interesting to see where he would slot if we re-did the vote today.
Guessing no higher than say 15 with his limited ceiling. One of the most interesting things about the prospect polls every summer is the different criteria we all use.
Those that vote for "will play" over potential probably slot him higher.
My guess ...
1. Coronato, Matthew 44%
2. Zary, Connor 65%
3. Pelletier, Jacob 86%
4. Wolf, Dustin 40%
5. Vladar, Daniel 45%
6. Mackey, Connor 38%
7. Stromgren, William 26%
8. Kuznetsov, Yan 36%
9. Ruzicka, Adam 27%
10. Kinnvall, Johannes 29%
11. Heineman, Emil 38%
12. Francis, Ryan 30%
13. Poirier, Jeremie 46%
14. Phillips, Matthew 38%
15. Pospisil, Martin 34%
Duehr goes here ....
16. Pettersen, Emilio Mathias 59%
17. Gawdin, Glen 28%
18. Jordan, Cole (Run Off)
19. Huckins, Cole (Run Off)
20. Parsons, Tyler 28%
21. Whynot, Cameron (Run Off)
22. Kerins, Rory (Run Off)
Or here ...
23. Chechelev, Daniil 26%
24. Zavagorodny, Dmitry 28%
25. Solovyov, Ilya 35%
Or as low as here ...

My WAG is that Richardson does draw in next, because he hasn't been playing at all and needs to see some ice. Duehr gets paid an NHL salary to munch popcorn for a few days, as a reward for good work in training camp and Stockton.

Didn't Sutter say today that Duehr is in unless he's tired from travel?

I think he would go in the 7-12 range. The players in that group have the higher ceilings, but I think they have about a 1/3 chance of making it to the NHL. He looked like an NHLer out there. Him and Gawdin were the standouts in the froward ranks in my opinion.
