I'm glad the team was able to ...

- get a point in a loss
- end the six game win streak
- be able to say they outplayed the opposition

... against the Predators.

Glad the six game win streak is no longer a story, easier to just quietly go about picking up points when the whole league isn't talking about your heater.

So it's 8 straight with points but more under the radar, but the team still thinks they deserved better and still trust the system they are playing.

Curious to see the lineup without Ritchie. Wherever he plays, he is just out of place.

He's kind of an enigma, really good on the forecheck. He seems to create a lot of turnovers on the forechecl. But a possession black hole. I'd like to see Dube and Mangiapane have an opportunity with a more well rounded player. I think there's some offense there that is stifled with Ritchie on that line.

My guess is they slot Richardson in to centre Lucic and Lewis and have Monahan centre Dube and Mangiapane. Would sure like to see Duer in, though.

I'm excited about this year's team. These players underachieved in previous years playing for bargain bin coaches. This year the coaching is legit and the results are showing. I'm glad this team is kept intact and am eager to see them continue playing the way they have thus far. I'm also excited about Zary, Coronato, Pelletier, Wolf, Phillips, and the rest of the prospects in the Flames system. I'm glad this team didn't sell the farm for Cracked Neckel. GO FLAMES!!!
