Not happy he's in Vegas. Am happy to see the cap hell they just dove headfirst into though. They're going to have to ship out some excellent players in the near future.

Tuch, Krebs, 1st x 2? Seems about right for what was going on. I’m personally not high on Krebs as everyone else, nor am I for Tuch. Two mid round firsts seems kinda meh. I think it works out fine for LV.

Are you talking about Peters and Strickland?

Definitely disappointing. First line centres don’t come along often. I think our last was Nieuwendyk.

Darren Dreger must know someone in the league office to always be first to report what the trade consists of .

Andrew Peters broke the trade but didn't know the details. Dreger is always first to report the details.

I’m sorry, but how in the hell did Treliving not beat that? Huge miss.

Friedman says Vegas gives up a 2nd, Dreger says a 3rd.

Either way, the jist of it is

Eichel
3rd

Krebs
Tuch
1st
2nd or 3rd

So the trade changed and it’s only one 1st? And a swap of thirds? Seems quite low. To me it’s be like Monahan and Coronato, no?

Yes. Peters was first to report the trade so obviously has inside knowledge

Elite Prospects already have both players listed for the Sabres and Eichel for Vegas.

That's not a bad deal at all for Vegas.
Tuch is ok.
Krebs will just fall in line with Cozens / Mitellstedt / Dahlin as decent NHLers.
Watch Vegas turn it on now and both picks are late picks.

Comparable would have been...
Monahan
Zary
1st
2nd

This is going to end up like the Sharks when they got Thornton. May never end up winning but will always be near the top for the next decade.

That seems like a pretty low price, so I am clearly undervaluing Krebs... or Buffalo is overvaluing Krebs.

Krebs is better than any prospect we have and Tuch is signed to a long term contract on a good deal.

I wonder what the Flames offer really was. Strickland said last night Tkachuk wasn’t involved.
