FLA was willing to let that guy continue coaching there based on their inaction after everything came to light. No good...

They can most definitely fall back to earth and burn under worse coaching.

Ducks come back to tie 4-4 after being down 4-1. Lehner is crumbling.

Nice not caring too much about a divisional 3 point game with both teams back in the Flames rear view mirror.

If Jaccob Slavin can keep up this pace, he should be a Norris frontrunner.

Tsawwassen is busy this Halloween weekend.

The Senators were the only canadian team in action on Friday evening. From the CBC link. "Josh Norris scored twice and Filip Gustavsson made a career-high 38 saves as the visiting Ottawa Senators snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-1 win over the Dallas Stars on Friday night." The Senators sweep the season series.

The Ducks have proven that a 3 goal lead is a dangerous one. For the second consecutive game the Ducks have rallied from a three goal deficit to get a point. This time they were down 4-1 midway through the third period and then scored three goals in 5:11 to tie it up at 4-4. The Knights did win, but, in the shootout. The Knights had no minor penalties called against them. The Ducks had three penalties called against them and killed them all off successfully.

The Coyotes had their rookie goalie in net against the Capitals. Karel Vejmelka played well in the Coyotes 2-0 loss, he made thirty saves. From the CBC link, "John Carlson scored a power-play goal in the third period and Alex Ovechkin added an empty-netter as the Washington Capitals defeated the visiting Arizona Coyotes 2-0 on Friday night. Goaltender Ilya Samsonov stopped all 16 shots he faced for his first shutout of the season and the fourth of his 49-game NHL career."

The Rangers are looking good so far in the early season. "Chris Kreider scored two power-play goals in the third period and Igor Shesterkin stopped all 31 shots he faced Friday night as the host New York Rangers cruised to a 4-0 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets."
