I would expect them to play something during the first tv timeout (probably just the video they posted on the website after the expansion draft).
Although, I'm sure they'll do something bigger when he makes his real return in December.

I'm really happy to see Kylington getting this opportunity. He has such a good skillset and it's completely unique amongst Flames D. Hopefully he has a good showing and can earn himself a spot. Another interesting thing to watch will be if he gets a shot on the #1 PP.

I really wish they'd give Dustin Wolf a period or two.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him play in Kent on Saturday. It's not Everett, but it's still close to where he played junior.

As one of CP's resident Kylington fanboys, I'm unreasonably excited that it looks like the team is given him some serious consideration here. Come on, Oliver, save us from Gudbranson.

Awesome to see Kylington getting to ride shotgun with Tanev.
It would be amazing if that somehow sticks. Two guys that bring two very different elements to a pairing.

I think that is optimistic for even the biggest Kylington fanboy. But, in a perfect world where both Kylington and Valimaki take big steps this season, I would love to see:
Hanifin - Andersson
Valimaki - Tanev
Zadorov - Kylington

Gawdin getting an extended look. I think that its fair to say Phillips wont get another sniff at the NHL.
Kind of surprised someone like Francis didn't get a single game in, even just for developments sake.

Yup, he has an element that the D core is lacking. Make or break year for him with the Flames

No because it isn't true.
Edit: Sorry, I missed the D in your post, thought you meant the entire lineup

Going tonight now as it turns out.
Will be really focusing on Kylington, as I agree his skillset is really needed. But I hope he's using the skill set because he hasn't in recent years / opportunities.
Hoping tonight we don't see his remote batteries run out the second he gets the puck, that's been his issue.

Realize it is a joke but any player would be a trooper to waive for Buffalo.

What did Zadorov do to some of you guys? He is a good player. Don't lump him in with Gudbranson because of one early preseason game.

They've got a season to prepare for, not the nostalgia of Flames fans. Seems perfectly reasonable that they want one of their best d-men to get playing time.
I would think the Flames would do something to honour Gio in a regular season game when they come to Calgary though. I can't see much fuss being made tonight.
