Am I hullucinating, or are they also going to start the Sunday game earlier next year too. I remember NBC's reasoning was that they could get the game on earlier coast to coast and felt they could draw better ratings with an earlier time slot than the Monday Night game could. Either way it will suck if primetime isn't aired next season until after the game. At least we should still get Countdown in the mornings.

Well finally found it, sorta.
So with NBC getting the Sunday night game and ESPN getting the Monday night game, they all signed new contracts. So the wording in the new contract allegedly stipulates that no station can air highlights of games they did not show, for a specified amount of time. Now that kinda confuses me as The Score, TSN and Sportsnet all show game highlitghts, but I'm sure they are aloud to.
Following that
NBC's "Sunday Night Football" will broadcast an NFL pre-game show from 7-8 p.m. ET followed by the kickoff at 8:15 p.m. ET.
Which may bery well leave the door open for NBC to air their own version of NFL Primetime.
