People made a big deal out of Matthews comments...point is it's just a normal thing a brother would say and totally blown out of proportion on here

I think everything your saying is just normal and expected. In order of importance/discussion for most people on cp:
- Flames
- other Canadian teams
- division rivals
- the rest

After reading up on the requirement sounds like a player that signed there first contract at 21 or younger needs 3 years of Pro experience to be offer sheet eligible. That would make Dahlin eligible because he has 3 full seasons. Looks like Hughes only played 5 games in his first season, likely signing out of college, burning his first year.

Would he be worth what it would take to make Buffalo not match? And he's anything but a sure thing right now. Would you take him at a 8 mill x 5 years assuming Buffalo doesn't match?
