pretty interesting. The list of current players is longer than I thought it would be.

What I noticed was the guys on this list mostly played before free agency was allowed. Few outliers were Doan and all the Detroit guys who played before the salary cap and Detroit could pay whatever they wanted.

On topic the best Flame has to be Hakan Loob.

Obviously the idea is talking about players who play their entire NHL career with one club, in this case the Flames

My memory could be muddy but what about Brennan Evans? I don't believe that he was ever on the ice for a goal against in all of his tenure with the Flames!

A few near misses. Chouinard only played his last season for another franchise. Eloranta played but one season away from Calgary, Reinhart only his last 2.

He played more games for San Jose than Markstrom has played for the Flames, and only 2 fewer than Brian Elliott did.

Thanks! I remember there was some kind of games-played controversy around trophy consideration at the end of his first season here. I thought it was the Calder, but now after looking into it more I realize (and remember) it was people not wanting to vote him for the Vezina because he only played 38 games.

I just went with the Calgary Flames. But I agree that Rautakalio was far better.
