O hey you've reappeared after the first round sweep. Kuemper is better than anything the Oilers have right now.

I will enjoy the steep down hill fall of Smith this year, when he is playing more than 6 teams and has to travel NA wide. Oilers are in for a rude awakening.

I agree with the concept of rebuilding, but I totally get why owners are loathe to commit to them.

I think the modern rebuild is also quicker than 15/20 years ago too, with the league becoming drastically younger and more first round picks being NHL ready and ready to play big minutes, coupled with younger free agency.

Maybe you have... I haven't really been on here much days after the oilers got swept and you weren't around, I just recall the level of arrogance going into the playoffs.
