He says "Chris, Dom, back to..." before it cuts off. The hosts for the ESPN broadcast are Chris Fowler and Dominic Moore. So, he's throwing it back to them in the studio.

I think Seattle PR is telling the truth here. Management isn't going to let joe schmoes know in media who they're selecting just for the sake of filming a commercial or whatever. They probably give multiple players as they've outlined and have them do multiple takes.

I think it's probably true. Kerfoot is from Vancouver so it's a good fit for him. He's signed for two more years so the Kraken like that. Who knows what Mccann will get after his upcoming season. Plus the new Kraken coach was the Assistant here in Toronto last year and he ran the PK. Kerfoot was a key PK player for the Leafs.

It's a 50/50 though. I'd choose Kerfoot too if I were Seattle (for the same reasons more or less than you outlined). I can't imagine the hockey guys getting told you have to give us your team a couple days before so we can film segments. Think about it like this - probably until tonight each team is calling them inquiring about exposed players from other teams and what the cost would be to get them. It's probably not final until tomorrow morning. So the media guys are likely forced to film the same take with different names just in case. I'm not in film but I know most sets are closed to cameras. Looks like a crew person took a video but it may again, be one of many takes.

Would all those videos necessarily be leaked at the same time? If DeluxeMoustache is right, this particular video isn't the official product, but some guy with a camera capturing a portion of the shoot. That guy might not have anything else to leak.

Apparently, some of the players are already in Seattle to take part in the big team unveil taking place against a Union Lake backdrop.

Apparently they'll be ferried in on biplanes for the ceremony.
