Well their even strength production has been similar over the past two years and they are roughly the same age. But I agree they are different players who play on different teams.

Yes, one is a Selke nominated centre, with a first round pedigree who’s got great skills and is likely just hitting his stride.

Ek’s value is considerably greater that Mangiapane. And I like Mangi.

Yup in comparison Eatbread would be 4.5-4.9 @ 8 years

He’s better off betting on himself I think.

Too much now, but given his age and trajectory, will likely be a steal in 3 years. On the flip side, the RNH deal will be a disaster in 3 years.

It will be interesting to see if Guerin holds off on Fiala's contract until after Kaprizov is signed. Of Ek, Kaprizov and Fiala you have to think Fiala is the most likely to be traded now if they can't come to an agreement.
