Aspartame trigger many of the same physiological responses as actual sugar. It’s not that aspartame, in itself, is particularly dangerous. What IS however, is its marketing and use as a ‘calorie free’ alternative that invaded almost everything for a quite a while.

You had people drinking diet soda for all day because it was low calorie, mean while they’re body is responding as if they’ve been consuming sugar, it all it’s ‘not all that good to be doing to yourself all day everyday’ process.

Right, but there aren't a lot of foods with aspartame used instead of sugar. Not that I eat, anyway. Pop is the most consumed one, by far.

How Rumsfeld Deserves to Be Remembered

Rumsfeld was the worst secretary of defense in American history. Being newly dead shouldn’t spare him this distinction. He was worse than the closest contender, Robert McNamara, and that is not a competition to judge lightly.
