I feel like this is going to be the least talked about series, and also the best.
Caps Bruins was a really entertaining series too.

All four of the remaining eastern terms (other than the Canadian ones) seem to be subtly effective in the playoffs. All of them tend to win the first round.
They're all built completely differently, so it'll be interesting to see which one ends up fighting for the cup.

A weird regular season series between these teams. First 5 games won by the Isles. 4 of those at home. Final three all won by Boston in Boston. 4 close games, one 7-2 blowout by the Isles, one 3-0 shutout for the Bruins in which the goalie was Jeremy Swayman.

Wow, I had no idea this series starts today, going head to head with the Toronto-Montreal game.

Looking at upcoming free agents, I can't believe that Rask is now 34 and Krejci is 35. Man time flies.

Not free agents, but Marchand is 33 and Bergeron will be 36 this summer.

Hard to believe he is at that age already.
Probably the single most under rated player in the game.
Over the last 5 years he is 3rd in NHL scoring. Only behind the two-headed monster up North.
Over the last 10 years...he is 12th.
An extremely good defensive player on top of all that.
He is what I envision Tkachuk to turn out to be.

Chuckie would need a leg transplant. Marchand’s game is built on speed.

The only thing I hate about Boston is the nickname the "Perfection Line" and how much the broadcasters ram that down the viewers throat.
It's cringey and annoying.

I don't mind it. Hockey needs more stuff like this and it is a really, really, really good line.
