Don't know how many 2 on 0s you can give the Avs before they score but apparently it's more than one.

I feel like if Landeskog somehow hits UFA this offseason that he’s a guy I’d love to add to our collection of Swedes

I’d love to have him. Leadership, grit and some offensive talent. Avs would be nuts to part with him.

McGuire with another straw man - “everybody says Grubauer might be the weak link”. Who says that?

He only led the league in shutouts (with Vasilevsky). .923 % wasn’t bad either.

Colorado is stacked everywhere else. If you had to nit pick it’s goaltending.

McGuire is really annoying. I had no idea.

Anyone picking that nit is wrong.

I’m just tired of Maguire already.

At least at 3-1 Maguire can shut up about Binnington.

Playoffs suit a team like the blues well. Big physical team that is getting away with a lot more than they would in the regular seasons. Lots of playing on the line and bumps, holds, interference. If they can drag the avs into that fight they have a much better chance.
Might be able to wear them down, if binnington holds up.

I really thought we were there two years ago when the Flames were one of the top 2 teams in the league. Felt like we were finally an elite team again after years of mediocrity.

...and then we met the Avs in the post season.

Fans. Good teams. Tough hockey. I'm jealous.

Yep. Colorado used Calgary as a stepping stone.

Remember that year, the Flames crushed the Avs and Mackinnon had a hissy fit on the bench and we all felt so confident?
