So on brand for Sportsnet here.
They had an awesome female TV personality that was very versatile and easy to listen to. For some odd reason, they turfed her and kept gems like Cassie and Nurse who are unlistenable.
ESPN swoops in and hires her, and people will complain how the little Canadian company can't compete with the big bad Americans. Boohoo, dumbasses.

What's truly amazing is it took the NHL 5 years to finally realize the same thing Hextall spoke to, and implement a rule to curb perpetual losers from picking first overall multiple years.

Leah has so much respect from me. She should have been calling flames games years ago. I was hoping the Flames would have wanted her on the fan960 in order to transition her into the big time on national tv.
I'd take her over Derek Wills any day. Not that I hate Mr Willis but Leah is better spoken and honest. Hopefully she hasn't lost that edge on her rise to the top.
