I can’t believe I am saying this

Calgary needs to spend money on 2 GMs and 2 head coaches more than they need to spend on 1 GM and 3 head coaches

He’s got to be near the top of the list. I think they will look at Gallant because of his obvious success with an expansion team, Boudreau because he’s got a winning record, and Torts because not only is he successful with lesser talented teams, he’s a name, which they need for PR. Or Geoff Ward.

Seattle (IMO) would be foolish to give the job of their 1st HC, an expansion franchise expected to not contend, to a guy with a natural disdain for media and a stand offish approach. Regardless of how good a coach he may be (and I don't think he would be for an expansion team), thats the wrong foot to start your franchise off on.
