Elias Petterssen will for the third straight year in his three-year NHL career fail to play a full slate of games—and this in a shortened season. This ensures that his next contract will be a fairly affordable bridge deal, but I seriously doubt that he will ever pan out to be the franchise centre that the Canucks hoped he would be.

Nate Schmidt scores his fourth goal. The Canucks are paying him $6 m for the next four years.

Too bad because he has the natural ability, but size and physique wise he makes the Sedins look like Hanz and Franz, thus his injury troubles.

Colin White scores. 1-1.

Tim Stützle falls down as often as Andrew Mangiapane.

Matt Murray just left the ice and headed to the dressing room. Marcus Hogberg comes in cold while Vancouver is on the powerplay, and they score. 2-1 Vancouver.

The Wild keep on winning as they defeated the Sharks 6-3. Kahkonen was in net for Minnesota.
The win puts the Wild closer to second place in the Central division as the Blues beat the Avalanche 5-3.

The Jets dive so much it's hilarious. Pretty sure Thornton got sick of seeing it. Especially Ehlers obviously.

Also love seeing the Leafs pushing back with the physicality. Sandin looking gooooood so far.

The stinkin' Leafs win over the Jets should be enough for the Leafs to take first place in the Canadian division.

You can say that again.

His ####-eating grin during the celebration made me laugh my ass literally off. So good.
