This ensures that his next contract will be a fairly affordable bridge deal, but I seriously doubt that he will ever pan out to be the franchise centre that the Canucks hoped he would be.

Too bad because he has the natural ability, but size and physique wise he makes the Sedins look like Hanz and Franz, thus his injury troubles.

The Wild keep on winning as they defeated the Sharks 6-3. Kahkonen was in net for Minnesota.
The win puts the Wild closer to second place in the Central division as the Blues beat the Avalanche 5-3.
