I have zero expectations from this team at this time.
IF, and that is a huge massive colossal IF they could pull out regulation wins in all three of these games, there is a slim hope.
If they lose even one, they are officially done (which I think most of us have accepted some time ago).

I’m going to wait to declare them dead. Just win this game in regulation please.

Since we all know it'd be nice to keep losing and get a better draft pick, the Flames will now go on a winning streak, only to get the worst possible pick they can and still miss the playoffs.
Because Flames.

It would be such a Calgary Flames thing to sweep the rest of the games against Montreal and finish 1 point behind them.

Our record vs Ottawa, imo, will be the amount of points we fall short of the last playoff spot. Guess we couldn’t figure ourselves out when it came to playing against a hard-working team.

Option C I guess, since the Flames never do either of those properly.

It doesn't look like the Flames can make the playoffs.
It also doesn't look like they can finish in the bottom 6.
They're close to LA, Arizona, and San Jose in the standings. I guess those are the teams to watch going forward.

With this year's crapshoot of a draft it hardly matters whether we draft 5th overall or 25th.
Just win!

I could see them winning 2 and than blowing the third one. They seem to like perpetuating false hope.
If they were to lose all three they likley are in last place and smelling Ottawa's farts. Which for this group would be very well earned.

We’re only 3 points clear of the Ottawa Senators.
We could sweep Montreal and we still won’t make the playoffs. I’m just enjoying the hockey and not worrying about the results anymore. I’m looking ahead to the off-season.

Must win game .... we all know how this will turn out lackluster effort with maybe 2 scoring chances and a bunch of perimeter shots

I want the sens to pass the Flames so badly. Actually, I want every team to pass the Flames in the standings now. As much as everyone says this draft is a crap shoot, it is but scouts know who the top 8-10 are. It's more important to get a good player than to play for pride. Playing for pride every year results in playing for pride every year. If they don't change what they're doing, every year they'll be on the outside looking in and telling us that at the end of they year they're still trying and playing with pride. Just shut up and lose already.

Even if a sweep occurs with the habs (which it won’t), it doesn’t matter. As the nucks will get in to the Playoffs before we do.

At this point I just want the Flames to finish the season strong showing effort every game even if this means they don't get a top 5 draft pick.
