They should swap our two 'best' players, and see if Gaudreau with Lindholm or Tkachuk with Monahan sparks either one of them. I don't mind whether it's a win or a loss, as long as it's entertaining.

Maybe we should have been the COVID team and not the nucks?

At least we'd have a reason to not play since we're not playing games in their entirety anyway?

Yep....Darryls likely wishing he was riding a tractor, or even shoveling shirt instead of coaching.....or maybe shoveling shirt and coaching the Flames is the same damn thing at the end of the day.

God ....this is a nightmare relived ....the dark years are back !!!! This time we just don't have excuses for how abysmal this team is.

Hope for more goals from the upcoming UFAs.

Other than that, happy when they win, and silver linings when they lose.

Last game before a 7 day break

Practice time! A full week!

I want to see them eke out an ugly win, then go get their #### together, and come back guns blazing

5-3 Flames in an ugly one. One goal off of a Flames ass, one off the goalie’s ass, and an empty netter

There is no love without hate; and there is no hate without love. The opposite of love is not hate, but indifference; the opposite of feeling can only be the absence of feeling. Disinclination, which is coloured by feeling, often only serves the purpose of concealing and protecting oneself against an inclination. Love and hate must go hand in hand; and the people we love most we hate also, because hate is grounded in the nature of love.
I have seen myself move from Love > Hate > Indifference thanks to this years Flames. What a sad day to realize this.

We are hoping for ~1985 11-10 Leafs victory, with Ryan (2), Monahan (3), Bennett (3), Nordstrom, Giordano and Ritchie getting the goals; 8 assists for Gaudreau. That I would watch!

The Flames have to go 7-9-1 or better down the stretch to have a winning percentage above .438 which was the Flames lowest winning percentage in the shootout era.

The Flames need to go 5-11-1or better down the stretch to finish above .409 which is the lowest winning percentage in franchise history going back to the expansion year in 72/73.

If they win out they could make the playoffs.

This is when the Flames will roll off the first win of like 8 straight to ensure we draft 12th, while still not making the playoffs.

With the situation in Vancouver, I doubt either of the games scheduled for later this week will happen. The Flames could be off for a week after tonight, and this could be their last game before the trade deadline.

Last chance to watch this version of the team?

Treliving won't be making big trades at the deadline. The UFA's should get moved, Bennett might get moved if he can get the price he wants.

I don't expect the core to be moved. If Johnny gets moved, it will be in the Summer before his NTC kicks in probably at the draft.

We will still get to watch this version of the team after deadline!!

I want to see the Leafs finish ahead of the Oilers. And I want the Flames to get as high a pick as possible. That is all.
