He's not exactly lighting it up either. If we were a contending team, I would give a 2nd rounder tops. For a team not even likely to make the playoffs, it make zero sense.

Like I said it (what it would take) would have to make sense. Flames likely going to have to look at everything. Teams know the Flames are on the ropes and not going to give up much.

If we were talking Gio for Palmieri I would be into it.

Sorry Mark.

Bringing in that RW shooter and flipping Gaudreau for a Konecny type would be an interesting retool on the fly that would have me intrigued for next year.

A. He’s a UFA coming up. So who says he’s gonna sign here anyway? Dude is from NYC and has played the last 6 years close to home.
B. He has an MNTC anyway.
