I love the idea as well. The major problem I've had with any retro outfit in any sport is it's generally from the 80's where the colours were ugly as were most of the design. Retro was simply a way of reliving nostalgia, but it was to this point such a lazy way of doing things. This is saying let's create a new idea that is timeless. While some may not like the colours, there's some creativity there, and I love it.
Not a fan of Bauer but he came out swinging. I could see how the league leadership has it in for him given his dislike for Manfred. Personally I think it’s bs and normally I’m up for outing cheaters but I think there’s motivation for people to appease Slimey Manfred so I’m siding with Bauer on this.
I love the look of it, but one of those things is not like the other and will fall back to earth in the next month or so. But until then I'm sure as hell enjoying the ride.
If there is any interest, I'm part of a yahoo dynasty league (currently in it's seventh year) and we have some no-show GMs this season. 14 teams/30 keepers, so pretty deep. Looking for someone interested in baseball, active in the league. League consists of pretty honest individuals, with one resident low-balling ass. Me and a Torontoian have been fighting over Jays players for a number of years. I own Vlad.
If interested PM me, and I'll put you in touch with the Commish. Sorry about a minor derail post.
Update : April 25th, two teams gone three left to be assigned new GMs. One of the open teams just crushed me for the week, with four slots IR or NA.

Interesting story for me - Tyler Rogers is a right-handed "submarine" relief pitcher for SF. Drafted in 2013 he didn't make his pro debut until 2019. Last night, he struck out the side to get a hold vs. the Reds in the 8th inning.
His twin brother Taylor is a left-handed over-handed pitcher for the Twins.
