Lucic gave his stick to Hanifin (whose stick broke). Tkachuk better take notes. LOL.

I thought Sam may be a different player under Sutter, but alas, not much has changed. He needs to bring way more energy out there.

Backlund was closer to him and didn't give up his stick.

I'm seeing much more sustained offensive pressure from the Leafs than the Flames so far in the first few minutes. While our defense has been solid, I'm not seeing how the Flames are playing well at the moment.

What kinds of good things are other seeing to suggest they're playing well? (Honest question, I want to learn what to look for)

What's weird is that he's a completely different player in the playoffs. He needs to start bringing his playoff self to the regular season and he'll be much more effective.

So basically, the same thing everyone has been saying for Bennett's entire carerr. Show us playoff Bennett during the regular season.

It would be hard for him to do that all season, but I agree, even a bit of that would be a massive improvement.

Kind of a dumb penalty by Looch.

Flames to the PK.

I think you're watching the same game I am. Constant pressure in our own end by the leafs. We just manage to get it out and dump it or make a low danger play.
