Edmonton now up 3-2, I guess that's good for the Flames?

If Hellybuck isn't standing on his head making circus saves the Jets have no chance. They just can't play defence.

Its interesting watching a national game that the PBP guy is just hammering his Oilers love.

See? Even Devin Shore made hitting an empty net from inside his blueline look really easy.

It's amazing our players simply can't get the puck and hit the net from just about anywhere with no goalie...

The Oilers are going to win the cup aren't they? They have a cakewalk to the Western finals. The other divisions will by much more difficult. McDavid is enough to beat the mediocre teams in the North all on his own

They are below .500 against the playoff teams in the North

And the tri-fecta of badness for the flames is complete tonight. No points, everybody ahead of us except the jets get at least a point. And the dirty grease win.

He really is isn't he? Best player since Gretzky, better than Lemieux and Crosby imo. Goddam Oilers get both those superstars.

No, They need Smith to keep this up. He's really playing well, there is no doubt. If he keeps it up he will be in the Vezina conversation.

They need that kind of goaltending to make a run at the cup.
Could happen though, but McDavid can't do it alone.

Pump the brakes.
He'll be an all-time great for sure, but let it play out. Both those guys have cups

Crosby is a complete player, doesn’t sacrifice defence for offence

I find McDavid to be quite offensive

Nonsense. Lemiuex was probably the most highly skilled player ever to play the game. He finished his career with 1.89 pts/GP, and won two Stanley Cups. All this while battling through Hodgkins disease and chronic back issues.

McDavid is in the prime of his career and does not even come close to Lemieux's productivity. Let's see how he is still playing in another five years.

Lemieux also didn’t get to play in the Right-of-Way era.

McDavid also hasn’t shown he can perform in the playoffs. Everybody has been distracted by his regular season accomplishments.

Not even close to Lemieux and Crosby. He's a great offensive player, but he's not the best player since Gretzky.
