If Sutter does help turn this team around, you're pretty much at the point where you're wondering if it's just too late anyway.

I look forward to seeing the upcoming changes start to slowly manifest across this roster, perhaps as early as our match up with Les Habitant Soups.

Gonna go take a batherson after that hockey.

However, I will give props for the comeback. Didn't think they had it in them after that body language in the second.

I give them some credit for that 3rd period. Sens looked like the team that was playing their second in two nights.

We’re well on our way!

(The Senators coming into tonight were only ahead of Detroit/Buffalo in Point %, I believe)

You know the old adage of sitting at a poker table and not being able to pick out the loser? Seem its works for hockey as well. Flames are looking around trying to figure out who the biggest loser in the division is... !

When the Flames actually decided to show up in the 3rd, the Sens had no answer. Calgary should easily be the better team in this match-up, but you're not gonna beat anyone in this league if you only put in a 20 minute effort.

Curious why monahan and gaudreau didn't play together in OT.

Should be an interesting week with sutter entering the stage.
5 points in 5 games against the worst team in the division...

The Flames deserve absolutely zero credit for anything positive that they did against the Senators in the 5 games.

I mean to be fair, the Flames have been AHL level at best.

My main takeaway is that Matt Stajan is very good on the intermission panel

If they just played the entire game with half as much determination as the 3rd, this would have been a different outcome.

I think Huska (and Ward) are trying to reinvent the wheel here on 3on3. Gaudreau - Monahan - Giordan should always start IMO. Not sure why he had Monahan - Dube together, as they never play together at any time. That 'magic' of 3on3 is gone from this team.

Oh well, the page is officially turned now. I am not expecting Darryl to come in here and turn this team around overnight, but I do expect to see improvements as the games go along. Really hoping it is enough to squeak-in this year (and it very well might be - Edmonton sucks).

I thought they were gonna fade into the night after two periods and just wait to reset this week with Sutter.

Nice to see the fight back. Sucks to lose a crucial point in a silly shootout. That’s the way it goes.

Sutter has his work cut out for him to turn this around In short order.

Kind of sucks that despite their play they could've feasibly collected 4 points this weekend.

Didn't do themselves many favors but things also kind of went against them at key times.

Good on the team for coming back but the same problems of not playing the full 60 and having frequent lapses in judgement on the ice are happening now almost every game. Buckle up boys, things are going to get tougher.

Flames “stars” don’t try very hard.

The biggest thing is 8/12 forwards don’t like going to the front of the net...

That’s not very sustainable especially when the only guys who go to tough areas are arguably your least “skilled” hands wise. Ritchie Bennett Lucic Rinaldo
