Milan - remember that time you beat Vancouver for the Stanley Cup? That was awesome.
Remember that time you got traded out of Edmonton? That was awesome.

I was involved way back when he acquired Lake Louise and the other related resorts. The only hockey related item was when I overheard him on the phone saying “it’s your budget - sign Jagr if you want” (note - he wasn’t being asked to approve a Jagr signing, he was just saying he wasn’t wanting to be involved in individual signings - just the overall budget).

He’s super sharp and will know what you are supposed to know better than you. And he doesn’t suffer fools gladly.

In some aspects of his life more than others apparently.

Harvey the Hound. I want to what he was feeling when Craig McTavish ripped his tongue out of his mouth.

No, never. Treliving may not be your guy, but he’s smart.

Conroy.
I actually wouldn't want to talk about the current team much at all.
We do that enough as is, and I'd enjoy the time more talking about his career, players like Iggy & Kipper and some general being in the business of the NHL stuff.

Treliving. Unlike most people on here, I'm still a big fan. I would love to hear about the behind the scenes stuff-signings, trades that never went down, and the draft.

You wouldn’t have an opportunity to talk.

Definitely Treliving. I would like to hear his assessment of the team he has assembled and what his plan is going forward. Without any filter.
And to complete the picture, would love to have had the same conversation a few years ago and compare what he said then vs now.

Gelly for sure, first because we have a friend in Carolina in common and second, because I'd love to hear stories about the '04 run, Darryl and the heartbreaking plane ride home. (Side note: I was there at the airport at 3am to meet them with a bunch of Aussie hitchhikers I'd met in BC who came to stay with us in Calgary. It was a hoot!) But I think Gelinas has some pretty good stories and great feel for the game.

I would want to talk to Nestorov to hear what living in Russia and playing in the KHL is really like.

A player wrote an article for the Athletic (I think), and described how grim it was to play in Russia-horrible airplanes, dirty players, food, etc. One game, he took a hit that left him concussed, and ruptured his spleen. A few minutes later, on his way back to the dressing room, he collapsed. When he woke up, he was naked on the slab, IN THE MORGUE. They already called his wife in Canada to notify her. Yikes.

You could also do this with Gio. They might have different perspectives though.
