Please don’t be down by 2 goals in the first. That’s all I ask.

Gaudreau had a pretty open interview that came out today on Spittin Chiclets if anyone wanted to check it out.

Flames need to get a W. Need to keep the season series close.

Hopefully they're up for a full 60 minute effort.

Big 2 points, do it for the gipper, sportsing hard to the max.

Flames have only one back to back games once so far this season...

That was an important win on Saturday night, if they don't follow it up with a win tonight, the team just stumbles back to the consistently inconsistent narrative.

Curious to see how the jets look with, perhaps, the best group of centres in the league, with the addition of Dubois.

For the flames, I'm equally curious if we see any improvement of that top line (other than some quick strike transition goals late in the 3rd, the line basically lost every other shift of the game that they were on the ice for). I am also curious to see if Lucic on the backlund line can actually be a night in/night out, successfl line.

Lastly, ugh, late games during the week suck for us flames fans here in the EDT.

I am curious to see if Bennett can maintain a level of consistency with Monny and Johnny. Hoping he's able to turn the corner...Hopefully, he can turn the corner here.

Will be interesting to see if the Jets roll out Scheifele - Dubois - Stastny-Lowry all game, or if we see Stastny join Dubois on the 2nd line. Their 4th line is going to be very difficult to match-up against.

I am assuming that Ward will want Backlund's line out against Scheifele's, Lindholm's against Dubois', but I can also see Maurice wanting Stastny's line out against Monahan's. Lowry is also good as a shut-down line, but with less minutes, maybe he will be less effective in the same way that Ryan is a bit less effective. Interesting to see how both coaches respond with the lineups and line-matching.

- Never took as much criticism as he did last year, worked hard on his game in the offseason (skill work and lots of 3on3), and also attributed last year to the "crazy year" that happened with Bill Peters & COVID

- Story about how he got his $97K bonus check after scoring in the last game of the season and just carried it around with him to a dinner with buddies and tried to deposit it into his parents debit card, which he still used at the time

I'm the worst at this so forgive me.

- mentioned the Tkachuk/Muzzin situation. Tkachuk was upset at his team mates for skating off, Claimed they didnt realize what had happened. Expects it to get addressed next game against the Leafs.

-Brought up how Peters firing and the COVID situation really messed with the teams groove. Didn't make excuses but felt that it really disrupted the team.

-Adressed the fat accusations from the beginning of the year. Claimed he showed up in shape and was put in a seperate group at start of the year due to close contact to a COVID case.

- Really hopes that they can play in the Olympics. Enjoys having 5 other Americans on the team.

Well if our blue haired step sister is Edmonton then Winnipeg can be the red head step child that gets taken out back for a beating .

I am beginning to hate losing to the Jets and or just eeking out wins against them.

I wanna see us please just play a full game. Let's turn thr tables on them.

Tough D limit their shots and take away the center of the rink and protect our house and knock theirs down.

Lets welcome PLD to Calgary with a big fat loss. Make Maurice lose his shirt.

Go Flames Go.

Yeah, I would like to see the current top 3 lines given a chance to gel. And rotate players into the 4th line, based on opposition and motivation.

Gaudreau - Monahan - Bennett
Tkachuk - Lindholm - Dube
Lucic - Backlund - Mangiapane

should be given some time, and for the 4th line:

whoever - whoever - Leivo

Need to win this one.
The Jets are our closest divisional rival in terms of matchup testing and we need to get the series back to even.
If I'm the Flames, I take how we fair in this division serious very seriously.

Pierre Luc Dubois isn't a hockey player, he's some Quebecois media tycoon with babes on his arms and a separatist agenda.

Both the Backlund/Mangiapane and the Tkachuk/Lindholm/Dube lines played way more minutes than the Gaudreau/Monahan/Bennett line last game.

Sean Monahan has not scored a goal for seven games. I think he will have a big night tonight.

While the game is in Calgary and should be a "home game", the weather in Calgary is decidedly Winnipeg-esq making this a pseudo Winnipeg home game.

Flames need to play fast and hard. Less standing around waiting for things to happen, more skating hard and making things happen. They have shown flashes of doing this, but unfortunately they have also shown long stretches of standing around watching/waiting.

This team is decidedly Forrest Gump so far this year. You never know what you are going to get.
