I honestly don’t understand how we can keep rolling with the same core group year after year after year. They’ve shown many times that the absolute best they can be is a mediocre team.

Team has a lot of problems. Effort and passion yet again were a problem tonight. Time for another closed door meeting, beers on the train, stick throw etc.
This team needs a soul-ectomy. Just not enough fire in this group of guys. Nobody hates to lose, not even Tkachuk

The team is what they always are. Weak in confidence. Easy to crumble. We have a bottom 10 in the league for our 12 F if not bottom 5. Can't turn a car on with no battery in it, no matter how many times you turn the key.

Glad to see tkachuk benched. He's been terrible all season.
Pretty decent game played considering how garbage the roster is, the useless coaching to boot.
Flames are going to have a brutal game Saturday. I sense hatricks and touchdowns against.

I will say I thought Dube was great tonight to start, even if he faded into the background the rest of the game. I guess the vortex that is the Flames "doldrums" has too much gravity even for the brightest stars.
