Thatcher Demko is not an NHL caliber goaltender. Certainly not yet and that team should have major concerns on him for the long term.

You should try drinking heavily. It takes the edge off of a bad season!
Plus, if you stick around here, every time there's a couple Flames losses in a row you can fan those flames and watch a bunch of fair weather fans fall off the bandwagon and then try and scramble back on when they win... a... game... I mean I have been fairly quiet around here lately. I figured the team would take a step back after losing key pieces in off-season. Thought maybe if we can stay healthy and things go our way we can maybe compete for the final spot. Now after seeing us play vs all teams not named Ottawa I am embarrassed. This team is worse then i thought. Defense is a complete disaster. Top guys are struggling, you can see it in their body language. Demko has been fine I feel, he's getting hung out to dry. Changes need to be made soon.

^To top that, Jonathan Huberdeau had a 5 point game tonight for the Panthers. Unfortunately, they are still not great at defending late in games and gave up a 2 goal lead with less than 2 minutes to play, eventually losing in OT. Sigh.

Yeah that was a bummer for the Panthers. Still a point so the streak is still alive. But it’s gotta be killing the 7 Panthers fans that their 10 million dollar goalie can’t bail them out once in awhile.
