If the Playoffs started today

Yeah things have started disintegrating for the Blues.


With 14 games left, I'm sitting 3 behind LA for the last playoff spot with no games in hand, I doubt I'm going to catch Nashville who are up by 5, though I have one game in hand.



The question is, do I make a big change and mortgage the crap out of the future? Or do I just say it is what it is and compete with what I've got and make a sell decision in the next few games for the hopes of getting a first round matchup.


Its amazing how much that first 20 games just murdered me, and I still think I had a waaay better team in the first 20 games of the season then the one I have now which for nearly 30 games was incredibly hot.

No change in last 2 weeks outside one switch in positions. The top 5 teams in the east have clinched. Florida and maybe Carolina have outside shots at catching the 8 spot, but at 5 points behind those chances are slim.

No change in last 2 weeks outside one switch in positions. Only Minnesota has clinched. Chicago, Vancouver, St. Louis and Dallas are all within 3 points of the 8 spot and have an outside shot.

Only one change in 2 months in the east with Carolina dropping out and Toronto taking their place and 5 teams did not move out of the January positions.

Minnesota vs Nashville
San Jose vs Chicago
Edmonton vs Anaheim
Colorado vs Arizona


In the west, there were only 2 changes, Nashville and San Jose jumping in at the expense of Vancouver and LA with 3 of 8 teams not moving positions..
