Maybe, but the whining by the broadcasters was positively Oileresque

Fox sports regional does a fairly decent hockey broadcast.

The NBC Philly broadcast was garbage tonight.

LOL - Avs score on the PP but a penalty called against the Kings as well and the colour guy says “do they take the goal off the board”?

LOL - on HF Oil they are saying “well he’s playing on a team with no pressure, like with the Wings.

A. It’s early in the season, when every team thinks they’re in it.
B. There was pressure on the Oilers?

The Flyers strike back against the Sabres with a 3-0 win. Brian Elliot with the 40 save SHUTOUT. Perfect PK by both teams.

The best goalie performance goes to McKenzie Blackwood who made 47 saves in the Devils 4-3 victory over the Rangers. Hughes had 2g and 1a in the win. Georgiev was pulled after letting in 4 goals on 20 shots.

Special teams were the key in the Penguins 5-4 OT win. Pittsburgh had 2 PPGs and 1 SHG.

The Kings couldn't complete the comeback. They were down 3-0 to the Avs after 2 periods and scored twice in the 3rd period as the Avs hung on for the 3-2 reg win.
