I'm happy for Frolik - I thought he always played hard here.

Good to see Frolik get a contract.

Yeah, he was a good player for us and wasn't on a terrible contract for a UFA signing. He declined a little near the end of the contact, which wasn't his fault, nor was it from a lack of effort.

I thought his agent complaining about lack of utilization and wanting out were a little out of line, but I get that he was frustrated with a diminishing role in a contract year.

A player like him on the bottom 6 for league minimum is a decent signing. I imagine he accepts what it is at this point.

He was a useful player until his 30's as his game hit a steep decline the past few seasons. I wish he didn't let his agent spout off as it kind of tarnishes any image of being a team guy but it is what it is.

He's an experienced NHL player who is responsible in his own end, and shouldn't be out of place with the speed of the game. The Flames dressed guys like Zac Rinaldo and Buddy Robinson in playoff games. Neither of those guys is remotely close to Frolik in terms of ability. So it's not shocking to see him still getting a chance to play somewhere.
Not just experienced, the guy has a Stanley cup ring. People forget that. He also was a top ten draft pick in 2006.
