Up to about 15 suddenly. I guess kids start a bit later in Vancouver compared to Calgary. I was ready for 530.
Also, everyone wants lollipops for some reason.
Works for me: gives the KitKats a better chance of surviving the night...

We did this setup with 35 bags. Took our kids out with a friend in a more kid friendly neighbourhood. My landlord said he usually got around 30 kids.

I am amazed with how honest people were this year. Most years of people leave out candy the bowl is emptied almost immediately. This year no bowls were emptied, people just took one

We usually wrap it up at 10. That way we've caught some of the teen stragglers, too.
It picked up a touch, but we're only currently at 14. That's pretty slow for here, as our previously 'slowest' night was 43.

I'm wondering if the number of people leaving bowls out due to Covid has parents telling their kids not to be greedy or something. I've had 3 kids refuse offers of extra candy now, which seems so weird.

We were over 100. Very few masks.
Usually we get well over 200.

Atleast 90-100 kids in Chaparral. Really surprising, given covid. Last minute decision by us to put up the decorations and give out candies. Created a candy chute too

About 15 in our quiet cul de sac in Scenic Acres. Lots of dark houses as people walk down the street so not surprising that lots don't make it to our place.
I will say, when I was out with my son, I'd say most everyone did something to make people covid comfortable. Treats on tables for people to take, wearing masks, using tongs, chutes, etc.
We gave the kids extendable butterfly nets to keep distance for houses handing out by hand...people seemed to get a kick out of that.

Looks like it's petered off here.
Ended up with 14, which is much better than 0, but a pretty significant downturn from previous years. It's understandable, but a bit disappointing.

About 60 here in West Hillhurst, well beyond expectations. I only bought 48 full size bars so had to give out fist fulls of the peanut free minis at the end.
It's Saturday, it's reasonably warm, it's outdoors - I guess I shouldn't have been surprised at the reasonably high turnout.
Candy chute worked well, heck I want to do that again next year, COVID or not.

Seem to have stalled out at 43, which is down about 40%. Nice to see various costumes.

Ran out at 130. Probably could of hit 170 quite easily. Guess next year I will have to get my candy buying done sooner

Renfrew. We made up 40 bags of loot and they are all gone. Double the kids we had last year. Was a fun night to sit out with with neighbors and hand out candy.

No idea amount of kids. Put out a huge Bowl and was completely empty so could have been a ton or one set of teenagers, but saw lots walking around. Happy Halloween!

104 in Cranston, handed out the candy with gloves a mask and a lacrosse stick, very small groups none of the 10 at a time, 4 max from what I saw, very polite kids this year as well which has not been true the last couple.

oh - forgot to mention earlier that someone up and around the corner had taken a drone and attached a rope/white sheet to it and were flying it around to look like a ghost - i thought that was pretty sweet!

This afternoon I get a call from a female friend who said her 11 year old daughter wanted me to join her and her mom in some trick or treating in Nanton. I quickly decided to dig out my Tkachuk jersey and an old helmet and gloves. As for my friend i'm not sure what she was
Turns out that Nanton had a lot of families walking the streets with their kids. The local firehall put up a ghost house for people to walk through.
