Just thought of another one:

Adam and the Weight - Adam Kowalczyk's band. He is the brother of Ed Kowalczyk from Live. They have some really good songs. Great band to check out.

two that come to mind right now are God Lives Underwater, and David Reilly. David Reilly is the former lead singer of God Lives Underwater, but they are very good, not too many Canadians would have heard of them but some Americans might have they had a few descent sized hits with From Your Mouth, and ReArrange. Kinda of a Tech-Rock band, really good, stuff the album to look for wold be Life In The So Called Space Age, or Up Off The Floor

For anyone who likes more pop punky (obviously not as pop punky as Simple Plan, Fall Out Boy etc etc etc) stuff, which is my full-time guilty pleasure, I recommend The Audition, The Academy Is...and Say Anything. And for a more indy/folky sound, The Hush Sound is fully awesome.
