How the hell do the Oilers afford Hoffman?? They had around 8.7M in cap space today. They still also need a goalie. They're apparent plan is to score 6 goals per game but will be giving up 8!!

I 'd love to see them blow their load on Hoffman. Especially with Klefbom out their blueline would be like all world bad and their goaltending would be all world bad.


There are not enough "Lets go" shoulder pats in the universe to over come that and Edmonton would be a lottery team for the next 5 years. Especially if they bring up Bouchard who's a train wreck on skates in his own end.
