So what does that leave the Oilers with? about 6 million to find a good goalie and resign Bear who's probably going to get 3 since he's the best darn defenseman in the league.
Nuge has to be traded for futures if they want to do any improvements in their lineup. Turris won't be an improvement.

Turris is done as a regular top 9 forward.
Not a bad deal, but nothing significant either. If anything, it's a slight overpayment, but not as bad as overpaying Ryan on the 4th line I guess.

I knew at least one of the bought out players would go to Edmonton. I didn't expect a 2 year deal though. I thought it would be a 1x1 like Bobby Ryan
