Agreed, it's a turn-on when a girl has the same tastes/interests as you. I like that.

Of course she can't know more than me about any of my interests!
That tends to send some guys runnin' for the hills.

Edit: yada yada yada, welcome back Jordon.

Anyhoo, it's unbelievable how petty some people get on this site.

Thanks for the comments Redvan.

btw, you're welcome for that password to buy Season Opener ticket kermit... Makes me wish I bought them myself and gave them to friends or my bro.
Against my better judgment I’m going to comment on this.

Don’t give us a big sob story about how your such a victim on this site Jordan.

In one breath you slam people for ribbing you about the cooler thing and but yet in your very first post back you mention it yourself. Which is great – being able to laugh at one’s self is an important part of any sense of humor. But you can’t have it both ways. The guy that brings up the cooler thing more than anyone else is….Jordan. So either own it or drop it – but don’t have a fit when people bring it up because you are the #1 person that won’t let it die.

Do you get abuse on the site? Yeah. Do you ask for some of it? Yeah. In the days leading up to your self-imposed vacation you:
- Complained about non hockey scores in the game thread
- Complained about the countdown clock
- Complained about too much non-Flames talk on the board
- Blew a gasket when people offered you advice you didn’t want about you getting a cat.

Its great you aren’t afraid to voice a contrary opinion – its what makes this site great. But don’t get upset when people disagree with you about your position or take a thread in a direction you don't like.

One final comment – you complain about people being petty but your unnecessary flaming of MMM in your so-called final post reeked of pettiness. I realize you and him have had at it a few times, but in terms of an unprovoked attack – that one ranks right up there.

That all being said, welcome back.

Well, I really should stay out of this, but I just find it funny when whiners whine about being called whiners. Really, CF (or Jordon), my first memory of you was you freaking on me for using a smilie in the wrong place (in your opinion).

Nope makes her a hottie, if a girl has guy interests (such as drinking beer, hard liquor, or watching hockey, instant upgrade on the hawtness scale)

Those Smirnoff Twisted coolers (that's right, I said it) are awesome. A few Black Cherry Twisted Coolers before dinner and I could really give a **** about the fact that my wife is making me watch "Trading Spaces" while we have dinner. I prefer effortless drinking where I can sip the drink or gulp it without having to worry about feeling bloated if I have more than two of them.

I think it's sexy when a man can be manly enough to drink a Bellini or martini, or cooler. There are occasions for every drink.

I'm a martini addict. I truly don't understand the "coolers are gay" thing. I love beer, and I love certain coolers. Maybe I'm bi?

Not as hot for a guy to be ambidexterious.

Doesn't the sugar in the drinks get to you though? They taste good but you can't do a whole night off them if you're older than 17.

Real Martinis of the gin & vermouth variety or the colourful, easy drinking kind served in a martini glass?

When the whole "martini craze" picked up a few years ago I was irked to no end when lounges and bars would try to be all hip by coming out with a "Martini Menu". The trouble was that most of them didn't even have a martini on them. A real martini has gin and vermouth in it. I'll make a slight exception for the vodka martini. Heck, use Italian sweet vermouth in it if you want. Just don't mix up some vodka, fruit juice and kool aid, pour it in a martini glass and declare it to be a martini. I have nothing against those drinks but the type of glass it is served in does not classify the drink. If it did I'd pour wine into a water glass and tell people that I'd been drinking water all day...

The sugar in them doesn't bother me. Keep in mind that I'm 31 and can't drink near as much as I used to in one night. When I was 19 I used to be able to drink a two-six in one night and remember everything. I still drink 3 to 5 bottles of wine or a couple of packs of Twisteds in a night of drinking but I don't drink competitively any more. When you get to be my age your wife doesn't find it funny if you puke in the closet and attempt to romance the floor lamp.

You're a man after my own heart. I as well am a 'real' martini drinker and the whole martini fad annoyed me to no end. Chocolate, cranberry, orange, bubblegum martinis what the crap is that about?

But my number 1 annoyance about the whole martini fad was the loss of any semblance of what a martini was. I would routinely order a martini only to have the server ask me if I wanted a vodka or a gin martini. I would just sit there kind of dumbfounded. Did I ask for a vodka martini? NO. I ordered a friggin martini which means it has gin in it. Vodka martini's are the bastard brother of the martini.

Honestly, I wish Jordon would leave again, he's like a little kid that doesn't get enough attention.

FYI, your ass isn't supposed to be used for talking.

Gin and vermouth, or vodka martinis. None of the fancy-pants crap. I make chocolate ones for my wife. She refers to them as "panty-removers".

Completely agree. Love it when a man will just drink whatever and not care about what the guys will say.

I love martini's too, although I have to admit that part of why I like them so much is the cool glass they serve them in. I always feel so classy, like I am on Sex and the City or something.

I'm not much of a drinker, but I love martinis. I'm with you I like the glass, sometimes more than anything.

Also, I'll third the comment about guys drinking whatever they want . I like it
