I would not be upset to see Nashville go home.

I want the Yotes to win so we don't have to play the Avs the first round.

Just remembered something - if Minnesota and Pittsburgh lose, doesn’t Minny have a 1 in 4 chance at Laf? They own Pittsburgh’s 1st from the Zucker deal!

Looks like it was conditional.

"Minnesota will receive Pittsburgh's own first-round pick in the 2020 draft if the Penguins make the Stanley Cup Playoffs. If Pittsburgh does not qualify for the postseason, it will have the option to instead give Minnesota its first-round pick in 2021. The option will expire at 5 p.m. ET on June 1."

So if Pittsburgh is eliminated here by Montreal then they can defer the pick to next year's.

I believe the NHL ruled that conditional picks such as this and Vancouver's 1st from the JT Miller deal would be considered "not making the playoffs" if they get bounced in the play-ins

I'm watching the Penguins/Canadians game right now so it must have begun at 2:00pm?

Yes, it should be 2:00pm MT for the PIT-MTL game and 6:00pm MT for the TOR-CBJ game.

It was nice of the league to schedule the Pittsburgh game in the afternoon so Sid can leave the bubble and go out on the town for his birthday after they're eliminated.

Conor Garland really reminds me of Mangiapane. Two tremendous young players who could turn into stars.

So no St Louis for us. Colorado if Edmonton and Vancouver advance. Vegas if one of those two lose, and Dallas is both lose? Do I have that correct?

Think you have that backwards. Right now, it's guaranteed we won't play one of Avs or Knights, as they will finish 1st and 2nd. Flames have chance to play seeds 2 to 4. If Hawks win, Flames play seeds 3 or 4.

I don't think so. The top 4 are seeded purely on the round Robin. St.Louis can either finish 3rd or 4th now. If one of Vancouver or Edmonton win their series than the Flames would essentially be the 6th seed.

At this point all we know is that the Flames won't have to play the winner of the round Robin which will be Vegas or Colorado. But all 4 teams are still potential opponents

Yotes #1st Round pick officially goes to The Devils.. which makes Chayka's snake move even more sketchy.

Raise your hand if you predicted the Coyotes and Canadians advancing.

The East playoff picture is looking more clear...
1. Winner of TBL-PHI tomorrow
2. Loser of TBL-PHI tomorrow
3. Winner of BOS-WAS on Sunday
4. Loser of BOS-WAS on Sunday
5. Carolina
6. Islanders
7. Winner of TOR-CBJ series
8. Montreal
