How can Otto not be the best 3rd line center for the Flames ever? The '89 Cup Finals was basically him, Glimour and Fleury (offensive zone) doing most of the faceoffs.

I've got Nilsson for right now and Monahan for #4.

I love Monahan but no way should he be ahead of Nilsson. I wasn’t around to see him play but can’t argue against leading the Flames in scoring 4 times with a record 131 point season that may never be broken.

Yup.

I am a big fan of Monny, but this is a travesty.

I get it was a long time ago, but this is an all time team, and not having the singe most offensively gifted player in the franchises history and the best 2 way C in Otto on the team kind of renders this exercise pointless. With Monahan in, those two guys cant both make it.

Shocked to see so many votes for Monahan. Lots of recency bias on that one. He's Langkow with a better shot and much worse defense.
I have similar thoughts here. Monahan is a good player, but like you say he's basically the calibre of player that Daymond Langkow was. Isn't as tough to play against and doesn't defence as well, but shoots the puck better, and I'll also give Monahan credit for being a better passer. He's sneaky good at passing the puck. But I think Langkow was more likely to carry the puck.

Both guys are good players, neither belongs on the franchises top 4 list of all time centers.

Yeah not having both Nilsson and Otto on this team is a travesty and proves democracy doesn’t work. Time for Bingo to declare martial law and get them on the team.
